"We got the sand [for the Bayside Beach enhancement] from the lagoons. We dredged all the lagoons on average 18- to 24-inches deeper. We bought a dredge in Louisiana and pumped through an 8-inch pipe all the way back to Rowlock Place and Grommet Street. We separated the silt from the sand in the Rowlock/Grommet area. The whole area had about 10- to 12-feet of white sand and silt. When we finished dredging the lagoons, we dug a hole in the sand, had a crane lift the dredge into the hole, pumped water into the hole and dredged the sand back to the beach area. This was a significant undertaking. Rob was recognized by the News Journal as we turned a small eroding beach into a 1,700-foot shoreline, two-thirds of which was planted with marsh grass which offered shoreline protection and habitat for wildlife. The News Journal article recognized this as a novel approach to shore restoration in the Inland Bays."

The Seaside Pavilion will be closed beginning on October 25th until further notice.  This closure will allow us to make some much needed renovations to the building, including:
  • Roof Replacement
  • Restroom Renovation
  • Shuffleboard Area Renovation
  • among other areas that need improvement.

We apologize for this temporary closure, but Seaside residents can look forward to a newly renovated pavilion in 2021!

Residents are reminded that all pets must be kept on a leash when away from your homesite. This helps prevent unnecessary accidents, and gives you control over where your pet travels while enjoying his/her walk!

Section 17 of the Pot-Nets Uniform Community Guidelines states the following:

A. PET CONTAINMENT.

Pets shall be kept on a leash when away from the homesite. When walking a pet, whether on the homesite or elsewhere in the community, the owner is responsible for picking up all pet waste. No pets will be permitted to be tied outside unattended. Dog houses and dog pens are notpermitted. Pets are not allowed at the pools, on the beaches or boardwalks, with the exception of assistance animals. Pets will only be allowed within the community if they do not cause a nuisance to other homeowners. Pets running loose may be caught by community management and turned over to the appropriate authorities. These rules also control the conduct of assistance animals.

We still have a limited number of self-storage containers available in the compound at Pot-Nets Bayside.  These are available for rent at the rate of $75 per month (billed annually, or prorated to end of the current year).  Each container measures 8-feet wide by 20-feet deep, and has a lockable roll-up door and an air vent.  There is an electric security gate at the entrance to the compound, and you’ll get your own access card to open the gate.

You can call our Front Desk at (302) 945-9300 to get your storage container.

The Coveside Dockside Seaside (CDS) HOA is having a Drive-In movie night!

They will be showing "Night At The Museum", so bring your golf car, lawn chairs or blankets on Saturday, September 5th, 7-10pm.

Please remember to bring a mask with you, and to follow all social distancing protocols that are in effect at that time.

"I would like to compliment the staff you have had working in Seaside.  Starting from the crew who removed the trees, the crew who removed the fencing, those that leveled the field and add topsoil and now the crew who are installing the split rail fencing, all of these staff have been exceptional. I’ve never seen a crew work so fast and so hard. Additionally, I had the opportunity to interact with several of them and each one of them were outgoing, friendly and polite.  The gentlemen who did most of the leveling and top soil work really was exceptional. The crew removed the eyesore and it looks great!  The only problem is that now I’m going to have to make my area look as nice (LOL)."
