"Today, there are more than 400 Delawareans and more than 100,000 people in the United States waiting for lifesaving organ transplants. However, only 50% of licensed drivers and ID card holders have committed themselves to donation by registering at the Delaware DMV making the donor shortage a public health crisis."

Advice from AAA on how to prevent, or at least limit, deer collision damage:

  • Be especially attentive from sunset to midnight and during the hours shortly before and after sunrise. These are the highest risk times for deer-vehicle collisions
  • Drive with caution when traveling through deer-crossing zones, in areas known to have a large deer population and in areas where roads divide agricultural fields from forestland
  • Keep in mind that deer seldom travel alone. If you see one deer, others may be nearby
  • When driving at night, use high-beam headlights if there is no oncoming traffic. They will better illuminate the eyes of deer on or near the roadway
  • Slow down and blow your horn with one long blast to frighten any deer away
  • Brake firmly when you spot a deer in or near your path, but stay in your lane. Many serious crashes occur when a driver swerves to avoid a deer and hits another vehicle or loses control of the car
  • Always wear your seat belt. Most people seriously injured in car-deer crashes were not wearing their seat belt
  • Do not rely on devices such as deer whistles, deer fences and reflectors to deter deer. These devices have not been proven to reduce deer-vehicle collisions
  • If your vehicle strikes a deer, don't try to assist the animal. A frightened and wounded deer can hurt you or further injure itself. The best approach is to get your car off the road, if possible, call the police.

There's no better time to list your Pot-Nets Home!

Inventory is moving fast- with some houses going under contract just days after being listed! Our current inventory is at an all time low, with an increasing number of interested buyers contacting our sales office daily.

Before you list your home with an outside realtor – let’s talk! With a Sales Center that is open 7 days per week, prospective buyers can stop in at anytime to tour our listings- which means more visibility for your home! We sell faster than outside realtors and know how to sell the benefits of a ground lease community better than anyone else. Our homes sell at a higher average sales price than outside realtors. All settlements happen here in our office, which makes the overall process more convenient for both the buyer and the seller. Best of all, we ONLY sell homes in Pot-Nets!

-Jeff, Pot-Nets Resident

"Many thanks for the thoughtful and caring manner you & Tunnell Companies worked the buy-out on Honeyspot. Please let Ruth Ann also know how much we appreciate all the help."

-Steve, Pot-Nets Resident

"I play this course every year on vacation. It’s my favorite course to play anywhere, and one of the most well maintained. I’ve been to several PGA courses, and this is prettier than most of them. Play wise, the course is reasonably challenging for a mid range handicap player. Some holes require placement, but for the most part it’s a nice challenge that rewards patience. Can’t wait to play it again next year."

- Rob, Baywood Golfer

"The place was very beautiful and the community was gorgeous. 2 adults and 2 kids had a great time. I would definitely stay there again."

- Alicia, Vacation Rentals Guest

"I have to say...you guys are amazing...that is why we live here!"

- Nancy, Baywood Resident
